In Omsk, a mother deprived of parental rights abducted her 10-year-old son

On November 3, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Omsk region opened a criminal case into the abduction of a 10-year-old boy by his mother, who was deprived of parental rights.

"A criminal case has been opened on the abduction of a child. <...> Investigative actions and search activities are currently underway aimed at establishing the location of a woman with a minor child," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, on November 2, at about 14:00 Moscow time, a 32-year-old woman, previously deprived of parental rights, came to the apartment where her son lived with his grandmother, and took the boy away in an unknown direction.

At the moment, search measures are being carried out, as well as the necessary investigative actions aimed at establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on September 11, law enforcement officials detained four suspects in the abduction of a man in the village of Tomichi, Amur region. The abducted man, who was abducted in the field and injured while trying to escape from the car, fearing for his life, gave the group of criminals all the money he had — 25 thousand rubles. After that, the kidnappers left the scene, heading to the city of Blagoveshchensk.
